New Resources Page Launched: Free Tools and Forms for Self-Represented Families
As a family mediator, I work with individuals and families navigating some of the most challenging transitions in life. Whether it’s separation, parenting arrangements, or property division, these moments often come with not only emotional stress, but also legal and financial complexity. One thing I’ve consistently seen over the years is how many people try to manage these processes on their own—either because they can’t afford a lawyer or want to stay out of court as much as possible.
If that sounds like you, I have some good news: I’m excited to announce the launch of a brand new Resources page on our website—created specifically for self-represented individuals and families.
Why This Page Matters
More and more people are choosing to represent themselves in family matters, and while this can be empowering, it can also be overwhelming. The legal system isn’t always easy to navigate, and it’s not always clear where to start or what’s required.
This new page brings together free, trusted, and up-to-date tools, including:
Downloadable court forms for separation, parenting plans, child support, and more
Links to official government resources and legal aid information
Free parenting courses and more!
Built with You in Mind
This isn’t a collection of generic links. Each resource has been handpicked with care—based on the questions I hear most often from clients who are navigating the system without a lawyer. I want this to be a space where you can quickly find what you need, feel more confident about your next steps, and focus on making informed, thoughtful decisions for your family.
Mediation and Self-Representation Can Work Together
Mediation and self-representation don’t have to be at odds. In fact, they can complement each other beautifully. Mediation gives you a neutral space to resolve conflict, and having the right tools means you can turn those resolutions into actionable, legal outcomes—without unnecessary expense or delay.
If you’re representing yourself and feeling unsure, remember: you don’t have to do it alone. This resource page is one way I hope to support you on your journey.

If you have feedback or suggestions for resources you'd like to see added, please don’t hesitate to reach out. This page is for you—and I’m always listening.
Warmly,
